pinBox and Georgetown University co-host the first Global Digital microPension Policy Roundtable at Washington D.C.
pinBox and Georgetown University co-hosted the first global roundtable on digital microPension inclusion at the University Campus at Washington DC in October 2017. The roundtable was co-sponsored by UNCDF, PFIP, CEM Benchmarking and the microPension Foundation and was attended by pension policymakers, regulators, financial inclusion stakeholders, development institutions, think-tanks and senior economists from roughly 35 countries. Participants shared lessons from both success and failure in expanding voluntary pension coverage to non-salaried workers who are traditionally excluded from formal pension arrangements.
