pinBox and Callund complete a joint review of Uganda’s micro-pension schemes for FSD Uganda and URBRA

pinBox, microPension Foundation (India) and Callund Consulting (UK) undertook a detailed assessment of a new informal sector micro-pension scheme licensed by URBRA, Uganda’s pension regulator. The pinBox team’s recommendations submitted to FSD and URBRA call for radical improvements on governance, administration, compliance, operational and financial risk management, and retirement literacy. pinBox and Callund recommendations will also help lower administration, service delivery and transaction costs for the Scheme as well as for beneficiaries.
