pinBox and Callund U.K. complete a World Bank funded assessment of the MBAO Pension Scheme for the Kenya National Treasury and the Pension Regulator at Nairobi
A 7-member team from pinBox Solutions and Callund Consulting, U.K. undertook a comprehensive review of the Kenya Mbao micro-pension scheme targeting Jua Kali (informal sector) workers. The study was commissioned and funded by The World Bank and the Kenyan National Treasury, and was conducted jointly with the Kenya Retirement Benefits Authority. The pinBox-Callund team also developed evidence-led recommendations for further expanding micro-pension coverage to Kenya’s 17 million informal sector workers who are excluded from formal pension and provident fund arrangements.
