pinBox joins a panel discussion on Responsible Innovation and Empowering Consumers in the Digital Age at the WSBI-ADBI G20 Conference at Tokyo, Japan
Parul Seth Khanna participated on a panel discussion the role for fintech in governance and customer empowerment at the G20 conference hosted by the World Savings and Retail Banking Institute (WSBI) and the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) at Tokyo. Parul shared learnings from developing nations that have adopted pensionTech for enabling low income informal sector workers to easily and securely access well-regulated pension solutions. She strongly advocated that comprehensive pension inclusion and old age income security should be an important part of the Sustainable Development Goals. The panelists included Chris De Noose, Managing Director of WSBI, Dr. Harsh Bhanwala, Chairman of NABARD India, Peter Morgan, Vice Chair of Research at ADBI, Prof. Kazuto Tsuji, Senior Advisor in Financial Inclusion for JICA, Jean Naslin, Executive Director and Head of Public Affairs at CaixaBank, Spain, Arvind Srivastava, Joint Secretary (Budget) from India’s Ministry of Finance.
