pinBox team visits Rwanda to review progress of the EjoHeza national micro-pension scheme
A senior team from pinBox visited Rwanda on an invitation from Rwanda’s Finance Ministry and Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR) to review EjoHeza coverage, persistency and retirement literacy efforts and outcomes. The pinBox team conducted a detailed review of the early experience with the Scheme’s administration and implementation. The pinBox team analysed the Scheme coverage and savings data, undertook field visits for group discussions and interviews with intermediaries and subscribers, and consulted senior government officials and financial inclusion stakeholders involved with the Scheme. pinBox presented its recommendations for corrective actions and interventions to the MINECOFIN, RSSB and AFR and to the LTSS Steering Committee members.
